SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Process Technician is responsible for establishing and maintaining molding machine setups to ensure the processes are consistent and the parts being produced meet the quality requirements of the customer. Routinely monitor the machines assigned maximize efficiencies and product quality. Monitor production employees to ensure that they following all DRS' processes and procedures and maintain maximum machine and labor efficiencies. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Monitor production operations for adherence to schedule · Assign production personnel to work stations daily · Ensure that high level of standard is followed at each station · Direct, guide, and train production personnel for each job assigned · Use DRS' disciplinary actions when needed for production personnel · Monitor mold setters for proper handling of DRS tools and equipment · Ensure processes meet or exceed established cycle times as defined on the Travelers · Verify process parameters and document the results on the Process Verification Sheet for the job · Maintain the process parameters in the Job Books and/or press controls · Monitor that all materials are prepared for molding by following manufacturers requirements · Perform and record moisture checks on required materials when first going into production. ·[ Ensure all materials are handled properly without ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
