Engineering Technician
Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative is seeking a qualified engineering technician for our central office in Centerville, Tennessee. The successful candidate will be responsible for staking and designing new distribution lines and plant modifications, drawing formal work orders utilizing the cooperative's mapping system and working with property owners to obtain easements. This position also assists with emergency outage restoration efforts.
Minimum of one year experience in electric distribution line design or three years in electric distribution operations and public relation experience is required. Experience in surveying, drafting, design concepts and computer applications to include spreadsheets, data base administration and word processing is preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in a technology-related field preferred.
