Overview
We are collaborating with an established hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, that has an opportunity for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage. Duties
- Level IV NICU experience is a must, cannot just have Level III
- 13-hour shifts
- 3-4 daytime providers needed 7a-8p
- 1 night provider needed 7p-8a
- Case Load p/Day:, MD Day: 16-24, APP: 8-12 patients
- Total Bed Count: 87 Beds
- Required Procedures and Acuity Level: Level IV NICU with routine procedures that are a part of training of any credentialed Neonatologist (including delivery room stabilization).
- Coverage Model: Day Coverage: 1 Attending is paired with 2 APPs, for coverage on 25 bed units. 1 Attending and 1 APP on 12 bed unit. Night Coverage: 1 APP per unit with oversight by 1 overnight Neo.
- Paid travel & expenses
- Will be cross credentialed at two additional sites- Baptist Medical Center South and Baptist Medical Center Clay
- Can consider candidates with a compact license if they do not currently have an active FL license
