MetPlas is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping, Processing Clerk & Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a full-time position for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Pack, prepare, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
- Organize and maintain outgoing shipments.
- Prioritize orders using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
- Process shipments using shipping software and related computer systems.
- Make local deliveries using a company vehicle as needed.
- Load and unload materials safely.
- Monitor inventory and assist with cycle counts.
- Complete end-of-day shipping procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Operate a forklift safely and follow all company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience preferred.
- Forklift experience required.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card (provided by MetPlas if required).
- Basic computer skills and experience with shipping software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the workday.
