Summary:
Meta is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, large-scale infrastructure data center programs that underpin Meta's global compute and network capacity. In this role, you will drive end-to-end program delivery across the full data center lifecycle - from site selection and design through construction, commissioning, and operational readiness - partnering with engineering, real estate, construction, and operations teams to bring critical infrastructure online at scale. You will define program strategy, resolve ambiguous cross-functional dependencies, and establish frameworks that improve how Meta plans and executes its data center portfolio worldwide.
Required Skills:
Technical Program Manager, Infrastructure Data Centers Responsibilities:
- Define and own the end-to-end program strategy for large-scale data center infrastructure projects, spanning site development, civil and structural construction, mechanical and electrical systems, and commissioning milestones
- Drive alignment across engineering, real estate, construction management, network infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure integrated program execution and on-time capacity delivery
- Develop and maintain master program schedules, critical path analyses, and risk registers for multi-site data center portfolios with interdependent workstreams
- Establish governance frameworks, reporting cadences, and escalation paths that provide leadership with accurate visibility into program health, schedule risk, and capital expenditure status
- Lead resolution of complex cross-functional blockers - including permitting, utility coordination, equipment procurement, and contractor performance - by driving structured problem-solving and decision-making processes
- Partner with capacity planning and infrastructure engineering teams to translate long-range compute and network demand forecasts into actionable data center delivery roadmaps
- Identify systemic gaps in program delivery processes and design scalable solutions that improve execution quality and speed across the data center program management organization
- Represent program status, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders through structured written and verbal communication, including program reviews and investment decision forums
- Mentor other program managers on technical data center program management practices, tooling, and cross-functional coordination methodologies
- Drive post-project retrospectives and lessons-learned processes to continuously improve delivery frameworks across the infrastructure data center portfolio
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in technical program management, with direct ownership of large-scale data center, critical infrastructure, or hyperscale facility programs
- Experience managing full data center lifecycle programs including site development, design coordination, construction execution, and operational commissioning
- Experience developing and maintaining integrated master schedules, critical path analyses, and risk management frameworks for multi-workstream infrastructure programs
- Experience communicating program strategy, risk, and investment decisions to executive and cross-functional leadership through structured written deliverables and program reviews
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with data center capacity planning processes and translating compute or network demand signals into infrastructure delivery roadmaps
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Background in construction management, facilities engineering, or civil and structural project delivery in a technology infrastructure context
- Experience managing data center programs at hyperscale, including coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, power infrastructure, and network deployment workstreams
- Experience building or scaling program management operating models, tooling, or governance frameworks across a portfolio of infrastructure programs
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
