Mercy Ridge is looking to hire a full-time Server who is friendly, enthusiastic and a team player to join our Dining team. The candidate must possess and exhibit a strong positive attitude towards customer service and have a genuine interest in working with the senior population.
Under the supervision of the Dining Manager, the Server is to courteously and professionally serve all residents and their guests’ meals in the dining rooms while providing a positive dining experience. The Server will work closely with the kitchen staff and other team members to meet the individual needs and preferences of residents while maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
Position: Non-exempt, full-time position which may include overtime. Schedule: Varying weekdays and weekends with shifts beginning at 11am to approximately 7:30pm/8:00pm.
Essential Functions:
- Is courteous, knowledgeable of menu, and professional at all times when serving a resident/guest.
- Takes food and beverage order and inputs orders in the POS system.
- Clears dishes from tables after each course. Sets tables and maintains work stations and kitchen stations in proper order and in accordance to sanitation guidelines.
- Performs pre-opening and closing side work duties as assigned.
- Assists in catering events including setup, serving, and breakdown.
