Mechanic/Service Technician We are seeking a full-time Mechanic/Service Technician in New Kensington, PA, to perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs and routine maintenance. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule, medical, dental and vision benefits, a 401(k), paid time off, paid holidays and uniforms. Mar Mac Tire is a small family-owned Tire and Vehicle Service Center that has been in business for over 70 years. You are not just an employee number in a huge company. We service personal vehicles as well as Fleet, Government and large trucks and trailers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes and air conditioning systems. 2. Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations and brake checks. 3. Use diagnostic tools and software to identify vehicle faults and determine needed repairs. 4. Maintain accurate service records documenting the work performed and parts used. 5. Follow established safety procedures and shop guidelines throughout all diagnostic, repair and maintenance work. 6. Keep the work area clean and organized. 7. Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about vehicle issues, repairs needed and work performed. 8. Pre-employment requirement: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Requirements: 1. Minimum two years of experience as an automotive technician. 2. High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification required. 3. Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills to identify vehicle issues and perform repairs. 4. Proficiency with modern automotive diagnostic tools and repair software. 5. Strong attention to detail and effective time-management skills. 6. Ability to provide your own work tools. 7.
