This individual understands the nuance of specialty cooking, and is impassioned to showcase the true essence of hearth open-style cooking. They know the flame needs to be controlled to create the perfect presentation, and that patience and a keen eye are the best cooking tools. Requested Tasks
- Preparing and cooking a variety of ingredients using an open hearth; including roasting, boiling, baking and frying
- Maintain the open hearth fire and coals
- Educating visitors on the unique practice open hearth cooking
- Cooking orders to food health and safety standards
Requested Capabilities
- Experience cooking with and managing an open hearth in a restaurant environment
- Ability to manage the hearth fire while adhering to strict safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills; "guest-first" attitude
