Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator / Assemblyman to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for fabricating and assembling acoustical sound panels to precise specifications, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production. The ideal candidate brings strong technical ability, craftsmanship, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble acoustical panels using a variety of materials and shop techniques
- Operate power tools and machinery including saws, jointers, routers, and hand tools
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials with a high degree of precision
- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications and standards
- Maintain consistency in fabric alignment, finishing, and overall product appearance
- Follow production schedules and meet output targets
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes and efficiency
