Key Responsibilities:
- Repacking and Inspection:
. Repackaging produce from damaged containers, inspecting items for quality, and sorting according to size, weight, and customer specifications.
Accurately labeling packages with product information, weight, and other necessary details, and ensuring proper sealing and packaging for safe transport.
- Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment:
Keeping the work area clean, sanitized, and organized, adhering to food safety and hygiene protocols, and following all safety procedures.
- Following Instructions and Meeting Production Standards:
Working efficiently and accurately to meet production targets and deadlines, following both written and verbal instructions, and communicating effectively with team members.
- Inventory Management and Reporting:
Participating in inventory management tasks, such as counting and recording items, and reporting any issues or malfunctions to supervisors.
- Essential Skills:
- **Physical Stamina:**Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 50lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- **Attention to Detail:**Accurate inspection of produce, precise labeling, and careful packaging.
- **Communication Skills:**Effective communication with team members and supervisors.
- **Ability to Follow Instructions:**Adhering to safety protocols, food safety standards, and specific packaging instructions.
- **Basic Math Skills:**For measuring, counting, and recording inventory.
- **Food Safety Awareness:**Understanding and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
