Create Lesson Plans using Creative Curriculum for children's ages 2 to 3 years of age. Supervise children and provide a caring nurturing environment within a group childcare setting. Ensure children's physical, emotional and academic needs are being met according to our center's five star guidelines. Supervise Assistants and floaters in the classroom. Make sure sanitation standards are being met. Good communication skills with parents is a must in order to involve parents and/or guardians in children's care. Be able to have parent conferences and make monthly newsletters. Must past a DCDEE Childcare background check, have a current TB Test and a DCDEE Staff Medical. Minimum education requirement is NC Early Childhood Credentials and willingness to take more classes to improve education level. Pay is based on education and experience.
