LaunchDarkly is the runtime control platform for releases, AI behavior, and customer experiences in real time with no redeploys required. As the pioneer of feature management, LaunchDarkly introduced a new way for engineering teams to separate code deployment from feature release, allowing organizations to innovate faster while reducing risk in production.
Today, LaunchDarkly’s control plane enables teams to govern how software and AI-powered features behave after code is deployed. By progressively rolling out changes, targeting specific users or environments, monitoring performance, and instantly rolling back when needed, organizations can safely operate at global scale. This approach empowers DevOps, product, and business teams to deliver better customer experiences while maintaining reliability and control.
LaunchDarkly processes more than 40 trillion feature flag evaluations per day and serves over a quarter of the Fortune 500. Founded in 2014 in Oakland, California by Edith Harbaugh and John Kodumal, LaunchDarkly has been named to the Inc. 5000, the Forbes Cloud 100 for five consecutive years, and Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list.
