La Casa de Esperanza's Home Care Aid supports clients who live in a small adult family home in a nice family neighborhood in Ferndale, WA. Our resident's are 3 adult men who have developmental disabilities and need daily support with with general living activities, such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, exercising, and medication assistance. The HCA will also provide assistance with domestic tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and any additional support that will help improve the client's quality of life, including taking out for community access, providing transportation to and from job related activities, dining out, shopping , going to doctor appointments; meeting friends/family or going to events. The position requires applicant to be 18 years of age with a HS level education, have reliable transportation, able to pass a background check and be certified by the State of WA in Home Care Aid Training. Some education is provided, with health insurance benefits after 90 days.
