Project Manager
Kinterra Design Build Denver Metro Area, CO | Full-Time | On-site
About Kinterra Design Build
Kinterra Design Build brings design vision and construction expertise together under one roof, creating a more coordinated and transparent remodeling experience for homeowners.
The company focuses on full-scale home remodels, major renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and specialty spaces. Our work includes remodeling, renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home projects, with a focus on functional, well-designed spaces and a collaborative client experience.
We are looking for a Project Manager with residential remodeling experience who takes ownership of projects, communicates clearly, and can independently manage the details needed to deliver successful outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Manage residential remodeling and renovation projects from pre-construction through completion.
- Coordinate with clients, designers, trade partners, vendors, and the internal team.
- Maintain project schedules and follow up on upcoming milestones and outstanding items.
- Keep project details, decisions, documentation, and communication organized.
- Conduct regular site reviews to monitor progress, quality, and project needs.
- Identify potential issues early and take action to keep projects moving.
- Coordinate trades, materials, deliveries, and other project requirements.
- Communicate project updates, decisions, and next steps clearly with clients and team members.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure design decisions and construction documents are properly carried into the build.
- Track changes and communicate their potential impact on scope, cost, and schedule.
- Maintain accountability for project commitments and follow through until tasks are completed.
- Help create a professional, organized, and positive client experience throughout construction.
What Success Looks Like
- Projects remain organized and progress according to schedule.
- Clients receive clear, timely communication and know what to expect.
- Trade partners and team members understand their responsibilities and next steps.
- Issues are identified early and addressed before they become larger problems.
- Project documentation is accurate and organized.
- Decisions and changes are communicated clearly.
- The team can rely on you to follow through without constant supervision.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, renovation, or design-build project management.
- Experience personally managing residential projects from pre-construction through completion.
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes, scheduling, and trade coordination.
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills.
- Strong client communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project details.
- Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Comfortable working in the field and coordinating with clients, designers, trades, and vendors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with construction management, scheduling, and communication software.
The Person We're Looking For
You are organized, proactive, and dependable. You notice what needs to happen next and take action rather than waiting to be told.
You can keep multiple moving pieces organized while remaining flexible when circumstances change. When something goes wrong, you stay calm, communicate clearly, and work toward a solution.
Most importantly, you take ownership of the outcome. You understand that successful project management is not just about maintaining a schedule. It is about keeping people aligned, solving problems, following through, and making sure the project keeps moving.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Performance bonus: Eligibility for a quarterly performance bonus plan, with annual bonuses of up to 15% of base salary, subject to the company's performance criteria and bonus plan.
- Mileage stipend for eligible work-related travel
- Paid time off and paid holidays
- Opportunities for professional growth
