Position Overview:King Painting is seeking dependable and hardworking Painters to join our team. In this role, you’ll support painting projects from start to finish, helping deliver high-quality results while working in a team-focused environment. Key Responsibilities:
Team Support & Daily Tasks:
- Work as part of a painting crew to complete assigned tasks
- Follow direction from foreman or project manager
- Assist with daily job site setup, ensuring tools and materials are ready
- Help maintain productivity and meet project timelines
- Communicate with team members about progress and any issues
- Represent the company professionally with clients and other trades
Technical Duties:
- Perform surface preparation including sanding, scraping, patching, and masking
- Apply paint, stains, and coatings using brush, roller, or spray equipment
- Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE usage
- Assist with handling and maintaining equipment such as ladders, sprayers, and scaffolding
- Support final touch-ups and punch list items as directed
Customer Interaction:
- Be respectful and professional on all job sites
- Interact politely with clients when needed
- Report any client concerns or questions to foreman or management
- Maintain strong communication with team members and leadership
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of painting experience preferred (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
- Basic knowledge of painting tools and techniques is a plus
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
- Comfortable working on ladders and in various environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Willingness to travel is a plus

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday 6:30am to 4pm typical, hours may vary by job
- Occasional weekend or evening work depending on project deadlines
