Kforce has a client in Olathe, KS that is seeking a Systems Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role blends full-stack development with business analysis, building and supporting enterprise workflow applications that power core business processes, including approvals, commission review, credit/refund management, vendor payments, and ERP-integrated operations. The ideal candidate can move comfortably between business conversations and hands-on development and is excited to work in an AI-assisted development environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using React 18+/TypeScript, Node.js/Express, Oracle APEX/ORDS, PL/SQL, and SQL Server
- Integrate applications with Baan/IFS ERP, REST/SOAP services, and Microsoft Entra ID/MSAL SSO
- Build workflow automations using OIC, Boomi, or n8n
- Use Claude Code or comparable agentic AI tools daily to scaffold code, develop endpoints, generate documentation/tests, and support code review and security practices
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user stories, acceptance criteria, technical specifications, workflows, and database designs
- Design multi-stage approval workflows, including role-based routing, approval thresholds, and audit tracking
- Develop automated and manual testing using Playwright, Jest, React Testing Library, Supertest, and Postman
- Manage source control and CI/CD through GitHub/GitHub Actions across Dev, UAT, and Production
- Apply security, performance, and scalability best practices, including OWASP Top 10
- Support deployed applications, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate closely with analysts, developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional IT teams throughout the full delivery lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3-5+ years of experience in systems analysis, application development, or a similar role, with hands-on experience in both development and requirements gathering
- Full-stack development experience with React 18+, TypeScript, Material-UI/MUI, Node.js/Express, C#, PL/SQL, and REST APIs
- Experience with Oracle APEX/ORDS and Oracle and SQL Server databases
- Integration experience using Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), n8n, or similar platforms
- Experience with authentication/SSO technologies including Active Directory/LDAP and Microsoft Entra ID/MSAL
- Experience with GitHub/GitHub Actions, Postman, and automated testing tools such as Playwright and Jest
- ERP integration experience, particularly Baan or IFS, strongly preferred
- Hands-on, daily experience with Claude Code or a comparable agentic AI coding tool required; AI-assisted development is a core part of the team's methodology, not an occasional tool
- Experience configuring AI development workflows, including custom skills/commands, project-level guidance, MCP integrations, or multi-agent workflows, is a strong plus
- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and support multi-stage approval workflows
- Self-starter and problem solver who can take ownership of open-ended problems with minimal oversight
- Proactive and curious, with the initiative to identify improvements, learn new technologies, and bring forward ideas without being asked
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Positive, adaptable attitude when priorities shift or deadlines are tight
