Original job description

About Keto-Mojo We are building the world’s leading metabolic health ecosystem - an integrated platform of hardware, software, and education that empowers people and professionals to improve metabolic health and thrive. Since launching in 2017, Keto-Mojo has made accurate, affordable blood glucose and ketone monitoring accessible to individuals and healthcare professionals worldwide. We believe metabolic health is the future of medicine and longevity, and we work closely with researchers, scientists, and clinicians to advance the science of nutritional ketosis, diabetes care, and metabolic therapies. Beyond best-in-class testing systems, we provide trusted education, data-driven insights, and practical resources - meal plans, recipes, and guidance - to help people make informed decisions and achieve real, measurable results. Together, we’re redefining ketosis not as a diet or fad, but as a science-backed lifestyle for better health and longer lives.

About the Role Keto-Mojo is looking for a detail-oriented Social Media Intern to support our growing multi-platform presence. This role is designed to take ownership of weekly content execution - including scheduling, content creation, trend tracking, and community engagement. You’ll get hands-on experience with metabolic health content, B2B, and D2C, for a brand used by clinicians, researchers, and health-conscious consumers worldwide.

Content Creation & Scheduling

  • Weekly content scheduling across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube using Sprout Social
  • Source, resize, and format images and graphics to platform-specific specs
  • Source trending audio for Reels and TikTok content; maintain a running library of approved sounds
  • Support short-form video editing for TikTok and Instagram Reels (CapCut, Adobe, or similar)

Community Management

  • Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions daily across all active platforms
  • Respond to routine community questions using approved brand voice and FAQ guidelines
  • Escalate urgent, sensitive, or off-brand interactions to the Social Media Manager immediately
  • Engage with approved partner accounts, clinicians, researchers, and community members on key posts

Other Marketing Responsibilities

  • Supports day-to-day marketing execution and experience in real-world growth marketing, including customer lifecycle quality control and web production

What We’re Looking For

  • Genuine interest in health, wellness, or nutrition content (metabolic health background a plus)
  • Understanding of digital marketing best practices, including platform algorithm basics, content formatting by platform, and the difference between organic and paid social strategy
  • Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X as both a user and content creator
  • Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines consistently
  • Comfortable working with scientific or clinical content - you don’t need to be an expert, but you should be curious
  • Organized, self-directed, and able to manage recurring weekly deliverables independently
