We’re seeking a PDP Manufacturing Engineer – Assembly to work onsite at John Deere Waterloo Works – Tractor Operations. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$37 – $42 per hour
Shift:
1st shift (7 am to 3:30 pm); minimal overtime

- Knowledge in one of the following areas: manufacturing, distribution, quality, tool design, maintenance, facilities
What Makes You Stand Out (Desired skills/experiences)
- Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, power systems, etc.)
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Experience with manufacturing software like: Creo View, AutoCAD, SAP
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology discipline or equivalent experience (required)
- Recent graduates considered; manager prefers GPA listed on resume
Software Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, etc.)
- 3D Modeling (Creo View, SolidWorks, etc.)
- AutoCAD
Additional Work Details
- Fully onsite (no remote); business casual dress code
- Will need metatarsal safety boots for first day
- Must be comfortable with shop floor/factory environment
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Interview preference: Teams/virtual, but onsite may be considered for local candidates
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- May drive a John Deere Gator inside the factory; must complete Deere safety training for approval
- May drive personal vehicle to other local facilities within 20-mile radius; no rental cars used
