What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You’ll be:
- Staging materials at production lines to ensure the continuous run of the machines
- Reviewing production schedules to determine staging priorities
- Processing overages of materials from completed jobs by performing counts and returning back into inventory
- Performing inventory/cycle counts
- Processing recycling and waste bins by ensuring materials are properly labeled and loaded onto the recycling trailer
Operating a skid turner to prepare loads for production
Minimum Education Required
High School Diploma
Minimum Experience Required
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Have 1 year + of material handling experience in a production environment
- Have experience using pallet jacks, carts, powered jacks, and forklifts.
Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally lift up to 65 lbs.
