Welding Assistant:
Assist welders with preparing, positioning, and assembling metal components for welding; Clean, grind, deburr, and finish metal parts before and after welding; Prepare materials and work areas for welding and fabrication projects; Assist with measuring, cutting, and fitting metal components according to specifications; Read and follow basic blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation; Inspect finished parts for visible defects and ensure they meet quality standards; Work closely with welders, machinists, and other production team members to meet deadlines; Perform additional duties as assigned by management <p>
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Previous experience in manufacturing, welding, or metal fabrication preferred; Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment; Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring instruments; Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
