• Now Hiring: Jogger - Join Our Press Team! Location: Portland, OR | Job Type: Full-time Why This Role? Like working with your hands and staying busy? We're looking for a dependable Jogger to keep our press floor moving. You'll be at the heart of a fast-paced printing operation - stacking, bundling, and palletizing finished product while learning the ins and outs of commercial web offset printing. No experience? No problem. We'll train you, and this role is a real foot in the door to grow into press operations. What You'll Do
- Stack finished books from the presses onto pallets or into shipping boxes
- Keep an eye on print quality and flag any issues to the Head Pressperson right away
- Move loaded pallets to the storage area
- Learn the fundamentals: stacker set-up and adjustment, plus safe handling and storage of chemicals
- Learn the emergency press "stop" procedure
- Keep the press and surrounding area clean and organized
- Train up on the Roll Tender role
- Follow all safety guidelines in the Employee Handbook
- Take on additional duties as assigned
