Original job description
- You will shape and lead due diligence and integration strategies for acquisition opportunities across the Central Region, ensuring alignment with regional growth priorities, enterprise M&A objectives, operational requirements, and Linde standards.
- Oversee a portfolio of acquisition and integration initiatives, establishing priorities and coordinating timelines, milestones, risks, interdependencies, deliverables, and cross-functional project teams.
- Collaborate with the National M&A team throughout the deal lifecycle to assess the acquisition pipeline, challenge key assumptions, identify enterprise and regional risks and opportunities, and align diligence priorities, integration strategy, governance, and post-close value-creation plans.
- You will develop and continuously improve scalable due diligence and integration models, playbooks, governance processes, and reporting tools to strengthen execution discipline and accelerate value realization.
- Partner with regional leadership and functional teams to assess the strategic, operational, commercial, financial, safety, HR, IT, compliance, and customer implications of each acquisition; translate due diligence findings, deal assumptions, and business requirements into executable integration strategies with clear ownership, decision points, timelines, milestones, success metrics, and value-capture priorities.
- You will coordinate due diligence and integration activities across National M&A, Operations, Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, Tax, Insurance, Safety, Sales, Marketing, and other support functions.
- Prepare executive-level due diligence assessments, integration updates, risk scenarios, and decision-support materials that enable timely, fact-based decisions by senior leadership; support post-closing activities, including purchase agreement commitments, accounting requirements, financial true-ups, and other contractual obligations.
- You will establish and track integration performance measures related to execution, synergy and value realization, financial performance, policy compliance, customer continuity, talent retention, and operational readiness; serve as a strategic liaison among acquired businesses, the National M&A team, regional leadership, functional teams, and corporate stakeholders; and lead the change and stakeholder management approach for each integration to support a disciplined ownership transition.
