A bit about us:
Our client is a residential construction and development company seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent or Lead Superintendent to oversee a ground-up multifamily construction project in the Knoxville, Tennessee area.
The project consists of 120+ unit three garden-style apartment buildings, each equipped with elevators. This is an opportunity for a construction leader who understands the demands of multifamily development from mobilization through completion and can drive field execution, coordinate subcontractors, maintain schedules, and deliver quality work.
Our client is looking for a true multifamily construction professional - someone who has built their career in multifamily and knows how to manage the complexity of ground-up apartment construction. Candidates with a traveling superintendent background are especially attractive.

Job Details
Extensive experience in ground-up multifamily construction, with a demonstrated track record of delivering apartment projects.
Career-long or substantial dedicated multifamily experience; candidates should understand the full lifecycle of multifamily construction.
Experience as a Senior Superintendent, Lead Superintendent, or equivalent field construction leader.
Strong knowledge of garden-style apartment construction, including subcontractor coordination, sequencing, scheduling, and quality control.
Ability to manage day-to-day field operations across multiple buildings and coordinate trades to maintain project milestones.
Experience overseeing site safety, inspections, building-code compliance, punch lists, and turnover.
Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and subcontractor management skills.
Traveling superintendent experience preferred, with the flexibility to work on-site in the Knoxville area.
