Job Details
We are seeking an Associate Attorney with at least 2+ years of litigation experience to handle a diverse civil defense caseload.
Responsibilities:
Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
Take and defend depositions and participate in court proceedings.
Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other attorneys.
Handle matters involving construction, general liability, premises liability, and professional liability.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
2+ years of civil litigation experience, ideally 2–3 years.
Insurance defense experience preferred but not required.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Experience managing litigation matters and conducting depositions preferred.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Active Tennessee Bar admission preferred.
