We support Dallas-area energy businesses and the equipment and services manufacturers around them, from founder-led companies to PE-backed platforms, on their senior finance hires. Our clients are mid-sized and growing, and they need an Assistant Controller who can own the close, lead staff and take on ERP and automation work. We recruit for this role on a rolling basis, so applying puts you in consideration for current and upcoming openings across our client base.

Job Details
What you’ll do:
Run the month-end and year-end close and review the financial statements
Oversee the accounting staff across AP, AR, JIB, payroll and fixed assets
Review the GL, reconciliations and cost accounting
Support audit, tax and lender reporting
Lead ERP implementations, migrations and workflow automation
Maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
Prepare analysis for the Controller and CFO on cost, pricing and capital decisions
What you bring:
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with people leadership
Energy, oil and gas services, or manufacturing background
ERP migration or implementation experience is a strong plus
Strong cost accounting and inventory knowledge
CPA preferred
