Communicates effectively with Line Operators as well as Supervisors and Managers. Keeps the line flowing with minimal downtime making sure all product meets or exceed customer satisfaction and that all GMPs and Standard Operating Procedures are being followed Essential Job Functions: This position is responsible for all of the following: Participate in meetings to gather required information for daily production runs Set up line including any and all machines, have supplies ready for the days production Communicate days expectations and orders to team, in order to fulfill customer requirements Make all product changeovers and adjustments to equipment to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime. Inspect all products and packs for quality and date codes Manage communication and activities of line operators, to achieve all production objectives according to quality standards Monitor inventory and time for optimum efficiency Performs other related duties as requested Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on the safe handling and proper use of machines and tools used for the operations Adherence to Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) for food processing Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for food processing Accurate completion of daily logs and reports according to the SOP Other Functions: Regular contact with all levels of personnel throughout the organization Follow all safety policies and procedures Other tasks assigned by manager Professionalism, flexibility and creativity Ability to learn and work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workflow Regular and reliable attendance
