Job Summary:
The Merchandiser is responsible for working in a retail setting, cultivating new and engaging ways to display the company’s (Beer/Seltzer/Liquor) products. Reports directly to the Merchandiser Manger.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Visit existing retail accounts to build and merchandise displays in store.
- Analyze store layout to make our products more appealing to retail customers.
- Develop relationships with key personnel at store level.
- Brief retail staff on stock display and rotation to ensure every space is optimized.
- Collaborate with Sales team to better service our retailer customers.
- On an as needed basis, assist with delivering product.
- Become versed in retail selling as time permits.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Highly motivated, self-starter.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Clean driving record and reliable personal transportation.
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations every day.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to construct displays and hang signs.
- Must be able to load and unload displays with and without hand trucks in various types of weather.
- Must be able to frequently handle items weighing 30 plus pounds and occasionally move 160
- Must be able to climb up / down ladders while carrying signs and drill.
- Must be able to operate hand held drill.
Compensation:
Annual earning opportunity starting at $45,000 annually (combination of base and commission)
Plus: use of company van, including gas and monthly cell phone allowance
