About the Position JEGS is looking for a hands-on, dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain and repair equipment throughout our distribution center. You'll work with conveyor systems, warehouse equipment, machinery, and general building maintenance. Responsibilities include troubleshooting problems, making repairs, and performing routine maintenance to keep things running safely and efficiently. New to maintenance? That's okay! We're open to candidates with all levels of experience, from someone mechanically inclined and eager to learn to an experienced technician who can hit the ground running. What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, machinery, and warehouse equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Replace parts and make necessary equipment adjustments.
- Handle general building repairs and maintenance.
- Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other maintenance equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and follow safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Someone who enjoys working with their hands and solving problems.
- Basic mechanical knowledge or previous maintenance experience is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Dependable, hardworking, and safety-minded.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work from lifts at heights up to 50 feet.
- Willingness to obtain equipment certifications as needed.
Experience with conveyors, electrical systems, welding, hydraulics, or automated equipment is a plus, but not required. What We Offer
