Production Specialist
Controlled Holdings, an award-winning distributor of HVAC controls, is currently seeking a highly detail-orientated Production Specialist to join our Assembly Team.

The Production Specialist is responsible for the assembly, production, and quality inspection of HVAC dampers and controls to ensure products meet company standards and customer specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Production Specialist plays a key role in maintaining product quality, meeting production schedules, minimizing waste, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will do:
- Assemble and manufacture HVAC dampers and controls according to established specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and follow work orders, and assembly instructions.
- Inspect materials, components, and finished products for defects, accuracy, and proper operation.
- Perform functional testing of damper and control assemblies to ensure proper performance.
- Maintain accurate production counts and report completed work, material shortages, and quality concerns.
- Meet established daily production goals while maintaining consistent product quality.
- Identify opportunities to improve assembly processes, increase productivity, and reduce material waste.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with inventory management by following established WMS procedures. Also assist in inventory handling and restocking locations.
- Communicate equipment issues, production delays, and quality concerns to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
- Perform additional manufacturing and warehouse-related duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Able to stand, bend, twist, stoop, and climb ladders on a frequent basis
