AWARD-WINNING. ONE OF MICHIGAN'S MOST STABLE AND BEST-STAFFED TEAMS. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - In-House Position Jackson, MI | Part-Time: 48–64 hours biweekly, or PRN/Casual | $42–$52/hour depending on experience This isn't just a job. It's a place with a 185-year story - and we want you to be a part of it. Jackson County Medical Care Facility has been serving Jackson County for over 185 years. We are a 194-bed, skilled nursing facility built to care for the community of Jackson. We have a simple mission statement: You are why we're here! The people we interact with every day is why we exist! We are here for our Residents, CarePartners, families, and you! A legacy is only as strong as the stories behind it. And we mean that: Let's continue your story together! This is an in-house position - you would be a JCMCF employee, not a contractor through an outside agency. You're part of our team, with the same culture and stability every CarePartner here shares. We have one of the lowest turnover rates in the State of Michigan and staffing levels that rank in the top 20% of the nation. That is not luck! That is what happens when the team is connected to the mission. We have been named one of America's Best Nursing Homes by Newsweek five years running, ranking in the top 20 in Michigan each year. We have also earned a U.S. News Best Nursing Homes 2025 designation and an AHCA Bronze Quality Award in 2023 & 2026. Our residents say it best: "The Therapy Team was excellent! Everyone did a good job. They took time to work with me one on one." - Jerry "Wonderful place to recover with wound treatment, medications, and strengthening Therapy." - David "With the care and knowledge of the Therapy Team, I was mobile again. Highly recommend!" - Diana Our Core Values
