Shift Time: 11pm-7am Sunday-Friday (6 days a week)
Thor Extrusion Press Operator
- Review schedule and print work orders.
- Verify that dies and temperature(s) used in the die oven are correct.
- Operates press and log furnace.
- Check the dimensions of extrusions with measuring tools and document findings.
- Stretches extrusions, as needed.
- Enters production data in Epics.
- Perform all additional duties assigned by department supervisor/manager.
- Position may require sitting, walking, standing, bending, stretching, kneeling, reaching (including over the head), lifting, and other movements (not specified) for long periods of time
- Attend and complete any Company or outsourced trainings, as assigned

- Must wear PPE required for this position (i.e: safety glasses, steel toe, ear plugs, gloves, etc.).
This position requires: punctuality and excellent attendance, with physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive standing/walking, extensive bending/kneeling/squatting, continuous lifting up to 75 pounds from floor to average waist-high platform, use of various hand tools and instruments, and extreme temperatures.
Requirements
- 1+ years of extrusion press experience (preferred).
- Working experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Commute to multiple company facilities and personnel, as needed.
- Engages in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as needed.
