Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on UKG Implementation Project Manager / Business Analyst to support a large-scale, end-to-end UKG implementation. This individual will work alongside the internal Project Manager and serve as a key execution resource across HR, Payroll, IT, UKG, and other business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has previously led or supported UKG Pro and UKG Pro Workforce Management implementations and is comfortable operating at both the project management and business analysis levels. This person must be willing to work directly with stakeholders, dig into requirements, identify gaps, translate business needs into actionable work, and drive teams toward resolution.
This role requires someone who can move comfortably between business stakeholders, functional teams, technical resources, and UKG while maintaining strong ownership of project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the internal Project Manager to manage day-to-day execution of the UKG implementation. Maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, action items, risks, issues, and decisions across the implementation. Work directly with HR, Payroll, IT, UKG, and other business stakeholders to clarify requirements and drive decisions. Translate business requirements into clear functional or technical tasks with defined owners, due dates, and completion criteria. Document business processes, workflows, business rules, functional requirements, and configuration needs. Serve as a primary liaison with UKG and implementation resources to ensure requirements are understood and addressed. Identify configuration or process gaps and work with stakeholders to evaluate potential solutions, alternatives, integrations, or workarounds. Challenge unclear or incomplete solutions and drive conversations toward actionable resolution. Track deliverables across functional and technical workstreams and proactively escalate risks or delays. Coordinate integration, data conversion, testing, defect resolution, training, and cutover readiness activities. Partner closely with key stakeholders rather than managing the project solely through status reporting. Help identify when additional functional, technical, or business resources need to be brought into project discussions. Support change management and training efforts to help prepare business users for adoption and go-live.
