Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a highly technical, builder-minded Principal Product Manager, AI Builder to help transform and modernize how our business operates. This person has progressed beyond simply managing roadmaps, requirements, and engineering teams. They understand how great products are built because they’ve spent meaningful time in Product Management, but today they operate more like a builder, entrepreneur, and technical product leader.
The right person is comfortable taking extreme ownership of an ambiguous problem, using modern AI tools to rapidly turn ideas into prototypes and solutions, and then leading teams to scale what works. What You’ll Do Build with AI: Personally use AI tools to prototype, automate, experiment, and turn product ideas into tangible solutions. Own products end-to-end: Take ambiguous problems from initial concept through prototype, validation, execution, and iteration. Lead through experience: Apply a strong Product Management foundation while operating beyond the boundaries of a traditional PM role. Prototype before prescribing: Get hands-on with ideas and demonstrate what is possible rather than relying exclusively on requirements and engineering handoffs. Translate technical problems into products: Partner with engineering, architecture, security, support, and business stakeholders to turn complex challenges into usable solutions. Lead product teams: Provide product direction and technical context while maintaining a strong bias toward execution. Operate entrepreneurially: Identify opportunities, test ideas quickly, challenge assumptions, and take ownership without requiring a highly structured environment. Build responsibly: Apply sound product and technical judgment so AI accelerates execution without replacing the foundational knowledge required to build products correctly.
This role can pay 135-160k based on years of experience and skillset.
