This individual will apply MBSE methodologies throughout the systems engineering lifecycle to define, analyze, document, and verify system architectures, interfaces, requirements, behaviors, and performance.
The ideal candidate is an experienced systems thinker who can operate at the system level while coordinating across subsystem, hardware, software, payload, ground, integration, and test teams. This role will help ensure mission and customer requirements are properly captured, decomposed, traced, and verified as the program progresses through design reviews, including CDR, and into integration and test.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Model-Based Systems Engineering activities across complex space programs
- Develop and maintain system models representing architectures, interfaces, requirements, behaviors, functions, and system relationships
- Translate customer and mission needs into system-level technical requirements
- Decompose system-level requirements into subsystem, component, hardware, software, and interface requirements
- Establish and maintain requirements traceability throughout the program lifecycle
- Support development of system architecture and - Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
