Job Description
One of our clients is seeking an intermediate-level contractor to support the continued implementation and development of the Country Collaboration for Childhood Cancer Control (C5) tool. The C5 tool helps global collaborators assess health systems, strengthen childhood cancer control efforts, identify funding priorities, and integrate pedicancer and other catastrophic conditions into national health strategies.
This individual will create and maintain C5 data visualizations and repositories, develop standardized implementation materials, and coordinate activities with country teams and global collaborators. This is a remote, part-time position requiring up to 15 hours per week, with availability during Central Time business hours and flexibility to accommodate global time zones.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities Create and update C5 data visualizations, including maps, graphics, dashboards, and other products that make complex health systems data accessible to different audiences. Support geospatial analysis and translate C5 findings into clear, practical visual materials. Review findings from previous C5 implementations and create or improve summary materials, reports, presentations, and supporting data products. Maintain a consistent and harmonized collection of C5 materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and version control. Build and maintain a standardized repository containing finalized documents, internal working materials, reusable templates, and resources that can be shared with local and global collaborators. Consolidate PowerPoint presentations, reports, spreadsheets, graphics, text-based data, templates, and sample materials into organized implementation resources. Develop materials and tracking tools that monitor progress before, during, and after C5 implementations. Coordinate and document action items from C5 planning and review meetings. Respond to questions from country teams and support follow-up activities related to C5 implementation. Coordinate C5 workshops, including preparing agendas and invitations, organizing materials, and supporting facilitation activities. Create supporting materials for manuscripts, reports, presentations, and broader dissemination efforts. Assist with other health systems activities involving the Client’s Health Systems Unit and in-country partners. Support health systems work connected to the Client’s role as a coordinating body for the world health organization.
