- 2+ years of related accounting experience
- Strong GAAP, reconciliations, financial reporting, and journal entry experience
- Strong Excel and financial systems skills Ability to analyze discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Accountant Staff - Joint Use for a top utility client. This candidate will support accounting for a contract-driven Joint Use program, focusing on billing, reconciliations, receivables, cost allocation, and financial reporting while ensuring accurate and GAAP-compliant financial records.
Day-to-Day:
- Manage accounting activities for Joint Use billing, receivables, reimbursements, and reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries, invoices, reports, and financial documentation
- Research discrepancies, balances, credits, and payment activity
- Support cost allocation, rate validation, reporting, and audits Partner with Project Management, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and accounting teams
