As a Sandblaster, you'll prepare and coat surfaces to support durable, high-quality finishes on industrial painting. You'll operate blasting and painting equipment, follow safety regulations, and coordinate your work with project plans and site requirements. Your impact: Careful surface preparation and coating help clients and crews achieve reliable finishes that protect structures and improve their appearance. Duties - Prepare construction surfaces by cleaning, masking, caulking, and removing old coatings; work with materials such as concrete, masonry, stucco, and drywall. - Operate sandblasting equipment, paint sprayers, and power and hand tools; apply coatings using conventional or airless spraying, brushes, and rollers. - Complete residential, commercial, structural, and industrial painting tasks, including surface preparation and finish work. - Follow safety protocols, including respiratory protection and safe ladder use; maintain equipment and keep work areas orderly.
