Structural Design Engineer
Location: Las Vegas, NV Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 annually Employer: Innova Technologies, Inc.
Position Summary
Innova Technologies seeks a Structural Design Engineer to design, analyze, and prepare structural engineering plans and calculations for commercial, residential, institutional, industrial, and mixed-use building projects. The engineer will develop safe, efficient, and code-compliant structural systems while working collaboratively with architects, contractors, owners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Essential Duties
- Perform structural analysis and design utilizing steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, wood, and cold-formed steel.
- Prepare engineering calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.
- Develop structural plans, details, schedules, and specifications utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and related software.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings for structural compatibility and code compliance.
- Apply IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, NDS, and related design standards.
- Conduct structural evaluations, site observations, and field investigations.
- Review RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and construction documents.
- Prepare written engineering reports and recommendations.
- Assist project managers with project coordination and technical support.
- Maintain project documentation and quality control procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
