Description The AI & Technology Analyst – Rotational Program at Hyper Solutions is a two-year development program designed for recent college graduates interested in artificial intelligence, technology, and business innovation. This program provides hands-on experience across multiple business functions, allowing participants to identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve productivity, streamline processes, and optimize workflows.
Throughout six four-month rotations, participants will work directly with business leaders to identify challenges, develop technology-driven solutions, and implement AI-powered tools that support real business needs. Each rotation includes a defined project with measurable outcomes, providing opportunities to build technical skills, gain cross-functional experience, and present results to senior leadership.
This program is well-suited for a curious, motivated, and entrepreneurial individual who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and taking ownership of projects in a fast-paced manufacturing and technology environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply AI, automation, and technology across different business functions
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered tools and automations that improve business workflows
- Complete defined projects during each four-month rotation, focusing on measurable business improvements
- Collaborate with functional leaders through regular check-ins to understand business needs and project priorities
- Validate data inputs, outputs, and system accuracy to ensure reliable automation solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for deployed tools and workflows
- Present project outcomes, recommendations, and business impact to senior leadership at the conclusion of each rotation
- Identify additional opportunities for automation and process improvement beyond assigned projects
Additional Responsibilities
- Support the transition of deployed solutions between rotations, including training incoming program participants
- Contribute to a shared library of automation tools and solutions that can be leveraged across the organization
- Build relationships with employees and leaders across multiple departments
- Explore emerging AI technologies and practical applications that support business productivity
- Participate in cross-functional projects that provide exposure to different areas of Hyper's operations
Requirements
- Recent college graduate or up to 2 years post-graduation with a degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated exposure to computer science, software development, engineering, or business systems
- Hands-on experience applying AI tools or automation through coursework, internships, personal projects, or professional experience
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and intellectual curiosity
- Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and take initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and business outcomes
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in improving processes through technology
- Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across different departments and levels of leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing AI-powered tools, automations, or technology solutions through academic or independent projects
- Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and their practical business applications
- Exposure to cross-functional projects involving technology, operations, or business process improvement

Location Onsite in Richmond, VA. Local candidates in the Richmond area are required. Travel to manufacturing partners and customer sites may be required based on business needs and rotational assignments.
Compensation
The anticipated starting salary for this role is $70,000 per year, with the potential for higher compensation based on relevant experience. Actual salary may vary based on factors including experience, skills, certifications, and location. This hire will be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on factors such as individual and organizational performance.
