NASA Internship Coordinator Education Coordinator NASA Kennedy Space Center Cape Canaveral, FL HX5 is an award-winning provider of engineering, research and development, and technical services to clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense. Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide. HX5 administers NASA's Internship Program at 10 centers nationwide. This position will join a team of Center Coordinators as well as Funding, Communications, Onboarding, and Tools Leads. HX5 is currently seeking an Internship Coordinator on-site at NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Cape Canaveral, FL. The coordinator will support interns and mentors with posting projects, reviewing candidate eligibility, sending offer letters, hosting orientation, organizing tours, and hosting regular office hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The candidate will work with HX5 team members around the country and a NASA Center Lead at KSC but should also have a high capacity for self-directed work.
Required Skills:

- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to balance tasks based on priorities
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional writing and presentation skills
Desired Skills:
- NASA STEM Gateway / Salesforce
- NASA's Identity Management System (IdMAX)
- Virtual Collaboration Tools such as Teams and Canvas
- Customer service skills and Event planning
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's in Education, Business or Science.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience
Other Position Requirements:
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
