Diagnose and repair electrical problems using diagnostic computers to recognize components needing adjustments or repairs. 2. Performs scheduled/preventative maintenance according to manufacturers instructions on a full range of equipment including cars, trucks, backhoes, trenchers, aerial units, digger derricks, trailers, forklifts, cranes, small engines, and other related items. 3. Performs unscheduled repairs on transmissions, differentials, other power train elements, brakes, hydraulic, mechanical and air. 4. Makes body repairs, welding, and fabricating. 5. Assist Crew Leader or Fleet Specialist when workflow permits. 6. Performs minor road calls and minor emergency repairs. 7. Keep working area, test equipment and maintenance equipment in a neat, clean, and operating condition. 8. Follow manufacturer instruction manuals, diagrams, and illustrations to perform maintenance and repairs. 9. Learn and practice company rules and policies. 10. Performs other duties as assigned.
