Job Description :
Purpose:
- Should be able to interpret data models and usage of data modeling tools (ERWIN etc)
- Knowledge on new features of the product and performance tuning
- Working knowledge on some RDBMS
- Gather business requirements, elicit technical requirements, prepare report specifications
- Develop reports, cubes, dashboards, scorecards
- Design, develop MSTR reports and integration with enterprise portals, mobile integration, write back to source data based on analysis by the business users, alerts via email, mobiles based on predefined events
- Identify and design common functionality
- Unit, Integration test the developed components
- Promote components across dev, test and production environments
- Provide UAT and Implementation support
Role Description:
- Provide support and expertise to the business community to assist with better utilization of Business Intelligence tools and IT solutions, for competitive advantage measures.
- Work with project lead and business users to understand requirements, conduct analysis and recommend solution options
- Translate customer project requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for BI reports and applications.
- Contribute to and support the organization’s Business Intelligence strategy
- Development and deployment of BI Solutions
- Work with internal resources during development phases to ensure appropriate knowledge transfer;
- Develop, implement and maintain test strategies and plans
- Participate in data governance for Organization’s core source systems to ensure reporting requirements can be met
- Assist in the development of database and development standards

Location : Warren, NJ, United States

Job Description:-

- Provide UAT and Implementation support Requirements:-
- Experience Level : 9 yrs – 12 yrs of experience in Microstrategy.
- Hands-on development/maintenance experience in Microstrategy 9.3, Knowledge/Experience on enterprise portal integration, mobile integration, write back to source data based on analysis by business users, alerts via mail, mobile based on pre-defined events
- Be able to architect solutions on MSTR platform
- Good conceptual knowledge and working experience on meta data creation, creating report specifications, integration test planning & testing, unit test planning & testing, UAT & implementation support
- Strong knowledge of quality processes (SDLC, Review, Test, Configuration Management, Release Management, Defect Prevention
