Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP) is seeking two compassionate, motivated, and community-minded individuals to join our team as Temporary Community Services Workers at our Glouster office. The Community Services Worker offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families by helping connect eligible households with vital energy assistance resources throughout the winter months. The Community Services Worker will be responsible for application intake and determining eligibility for energy assistance programs, along with providing excellent customer service and assistance to community members throughout the application process. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED equivalency, excellent communication and organizational skills, strong customer service skills, basic math skills, and computer knowledge including data entry. Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required. A background in social services and knowledge of local community resources is preferred, but not required.
