Position summary
Maintain a reliable, coordinated construction schedule supporting Commercial Construction and Production Homes. Integrate PM priorities, field readiness, crew capacity, materials, equipment, and subcontractor availability into an actionable schedule. Keep scheduling and work-order information current in company systems and make constraints visible before they disrupt execution.
Key responsibilities
• Maintain the master construction schedule and a rolling two- to four-week look-ahead for both divisions, with daily updates as conditions change.
• Collect and validate scheduling inputs from PMs, field leaders, irrigation teams, procurement, and subcontractors.
• Track prerequisites such as lot or site readiness, approvals, materials, access, equipment, and predecessor work.
• Identify resource conflicts, unrealistic commitments, and idle capacity; present options to the General Manager, Construction Services, for decision.
• Publish approved crew assignments and schedule changes through agreed channels; confirm that affected teams receive updates.
• Coordinate material and equipment timing with responsible owners to align deliveries with confirmed work.
• Maintain work orders, tickets, dates, status, and scheduling records in Aspire or other approved systems.
• Track planned versus actual starts and completions, record delay reasons, and support schedule-performance reporting.
• Support scheduling meetings with a concise list of constraints, decisions required, owners, and deadlines.
• Maintain an accessible record of schedule revisions and commitments; flag incomplete information instead of treating assumptions as confirmed.
• Use Aspire scheduling and work-order data as a planning tool, keeping it current and accurate so it supports schedule decisions rather than serving only as a record.
Required qualifications
• Two or more years of scheduling, dispatch, construction administration, project coordination, or comparable operations experience.
• Strong organization, accuracy, and ability to coordinate changing priorities across multiple teams.
• Ability to understand construction sequencing and distinguish confirmed readiness from tentative dates.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Teams, and scheduling or work-order systems.
• Clear communication and ability to escalate conflicts with facts and practical options.
Preferred qualifications
• Landscape construction, irrigation, production home, or commercial subcontractor experience.
• Experience with Aspire, Procore, or similar project and ERP systems.
• Experience coordinating crews, subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment availability.
Work environment
Combination of office and active construction-site work, with local travel as needed. Work may require early starts and seasonal schedule flexibility. Site visits involve walking on uneven terrain and exposure to weather; required personal protective equipment must be used. Essential duties may be performed with reasonable accommodation.
