Manager(s) -- Body Engineering needed to work in Farmington Hills, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to coordinate the design and development of upper body & interior components. Manage component development throughout the design cycle from concept stage through to production line off by using client development methodologies and processes for vehicle development. Execute design utilizing Catia V5 independently and by leading Supplier Engineers or CAD modelers. Conduct packaging / layout studies. Create drawings & 3D models using client specified design process. Manage and continuously adjust priorities and processes to maintain project targets and deliverables -- i.e. schedule, performance, cost, quality. Visualize issues, concerns, and gaps for responsible parts and design processes. Participate in improvement and reflection activities as required.
Must have a Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any), or a related field, plus two (2) years of automotive engineering experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Project Lead, Project Engineer, or related position. The two (2) years of automotive engineering experience must include experience with the following: CATIA V5, 3DX, and ENOVIA. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any), or a related field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-Bachelor's Degree automotive engineering experience. Two (2) years of the five (5) years of progressive post-Bachelor's Degree automotive engineering experience must include experience with the following: CATIA V5, 3DX, and ENOVIA.
All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and/or relocation may be required. Frequency of travel approximately 10% per year. International travel is not required. Domestic travel and relocation to unanticipated locations throughout the United States required as needed based on Hinduja Tech Inc. business needs. Incidental telecommuting may apply. EOE.
