HII Unmanned Systems (UxS) has an exciting systems engineering role to develop, integrate, test, and field autonomous maritime vehicles. As our new Systems Engineer you will apply strong systems, integration and test experience and technical knowledge to solve the challenges in engineering unmanned systems. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, and will perform the following duties: Analyses at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of unmanned marine vehicles and support technology Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer and mission needs into system requirements Demonstrates attention to detail, and develops and maintains accurate systems documentation WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING.. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. We are looking to hire for multiple levels in Systems Engineering Level 1 - 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
