Original job description

Title: Software Engineer

Location: Onsite, NYC in their SoHo, New York office

About the Company Our client helps brands grow by improving how they appear in AI search. We combine AI research, custom software, and hands-on execution to measure and increase a brand’s visibility across conversational AI platforms.

After raising $5M in funding, we are on a mission to build a category-defining company with a lean, high-ownership team where every seat matters. We believe the best companies are built in person. We take pride in working hard, holding a high bar, and doing the uncommon work required for uncommon outcomes.

What You'll Do

You will own major product surfaces end-to-end. You’ll be working alongside the best and building at the frontier of AI search.
Define and build product end-to-end.
Deeply understand user needs to iterate on, deploy, and scale software with extreme ownership.
Operate at the frontier. We are tackling ambiguous, unsolved problems in AI search that require running experiments to uncover novel insights.
Design and build large-scale systems, data models, and infrastructure

Qualifications

Can quickly and effectively decompose large, ambiguous problems and systems
Have built real products before and are comfortable owning large technical surfaces
Have strong fundamentals in system design and databases, with good judgement around when to move fast vs. build for scale

#Perks & Culture

Base comp ($145 - 200k) + meaningful equity
Collaborative work in our NYC office
We hire a small number of talented people and give them as much ownership and autonomy as possible.
We are truth-seeking. Transparent, direct discourse is encouraged. We challenge existing beliefs in pursuit of always getting better.
We work hard and are unapologetic about the level of effort required to build a generational company.
