Duties:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, general ledger accounts, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the home care agency.
- Maintain and reconcile accounting records related to home care operations, including revenue, expenses, payroll, and caregiver compensation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local accounting regulations, tax requirements, and financial reporting standards applicable to home care services.
- Prepare and file required tax documents, payroll tax reports, and financial disclosures in coordination with external accountants and tax advisors.
- Track and allocate costs associated with client services, caregiver staffing, and administrative operations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management regarding profitability, cost trends, and financial risks specific to home care operations.
