Reid’s Tannery Promotional Products, a division of H&K Group, Inc., is looking for part-time help in the production area to join our team and assist in all aspects of the job.
Operates heat transfer press to apply preprinted graphic images to garments, fabrics, or other materials.
The ideal candidate is experienced, accurate, detail oriented, friendly, and professional. A resume is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receives heat transfers with production order
- Read work orders
- Count and prepare orders for production include unpacking of products out of their plastic or boxes.
- Check transfer press for proper temperature, time and pressure settings in accordance with fabric and transfer type.
- Positions image according to job specifications
- Adjust temperature, pressure, and timing controls
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment
- Heat presses include flat and hat machines.
- Additional miscellaneous duties assisting the staff in the retail store
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
- The physical requirements are to be able to lift and/or move 10-25 pounds.
Qualifications
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
- Experience with industrial Tajima 4-head machine or similar
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet customer deadlines
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution
- Experience with manual and/or automated screen-printing processes and equipment
- Resume with application is strongly preferred
Physical Demands
- Regularly reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, climb, or balance
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment
- Frequently exposed to:
- Moving parts
- Fumes or airborne particles
- Toxic or caustic chemicals
- Wet and/or humid conditions
- Noise level is occasionally loud
