Headquartered in Green Bay, WI, since 1933, Green Bay Packaging is a family-owned, vertically integrated manufacturer of corrugated packaging, folding cartons, coated labels, and containerboard. We provide high-quality, sustainable packaging solutions to customers across a diverse range of industries.
With more than 4,500 employees and over 40 facilities in 16 states, our operations span corrugated box plants, a folding carton facility, recycled and virgin containerboard mills, pressure-sensitive label stock plants, timberlands, a slitting operation, and a sawmill. Every location is committed to responsible resource management and continuous innovation, with an unwavering focus on safety, sustainability, quality, and operational excellence.
As a fully vertically integrated company, we manage every stage of production - from raw materials to finished packaging - supported by more than 450,000 acres of company-managed timberlands, advanced containerboard mills, and efficient converting operations. This integration, paired with our decentralized structure, enables us to deliver consistent quality, sustainable solutions, and exceptional service.
Our people are at the heart of our success. As a family-owned organization, we foster a collaborative, growth-oriented culture with opportunities across manufacturing, engineering, forestry, operations, sales, design, and more. We invest in our teams through competitive benefits, professional development, and a strong commitment to safety and well-being.
George F. Kress’s founding vision continues to guide us: empowered people creating innovative solutions to meet the unique challenges of every customer.
